As Chief Medical Officer, Oren is responsible for the clinical aspects of Medtronic LABS’ technologies and programs, including drafting or customization of clinical workflows/algorithms, decision support tools, health system and disease-specific metrics and service delivery innovations. He also supports LABS’ research agenda as well as national and global health policy and advocacy initiatives.
Oren holds a Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Nairobi and an MSc. in Public Health Systems Management from the Kenyatta University/US CDC IMPACT Program. He is passionate about strengthening health systems through digital health and data-driven decision-making.
